Vintage Bouquet Quilt, 1950s Handmade Patchwork, Sawtooth Border (72x86)

This is a Bouquet or Nosegay Quilt with Sawtooth Border, circa 1950s.

The quilting in this lovely quilt is whimsical as well, in crested waves, unique geometric patterns and outlines of the patchwork.

The back is bright white cotton and the Sawtooth Border goes around all four sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some age-related yellowing of the white cotton and one tiny, 1/16 inch hole near the sawtooth border that is only in the top fabric and does not go through to the back.

It is approximately 72 inches by 86 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
