  • Details
This is a 2006 version of an Irish Chain Quilt currently in the Smithsonian Museum. This beautiful quilt is made of high-quality cottons and is a new take on the 1840s Irish Chain quilt put together by a quilter named Margaret Willis sometime between 1840 and 1850. Unlike the original, this one has been expertly long-arm quilted in tight curlicues. The pink-patterned border goes around all four sides.

The back is a light pink and white print while the polka dot print binding has has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition, with no issues found.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 66 inches by 78 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
