Vintage Twirling Tulips: Hand-Quilted; 1940s-1950s, hand-quilted (74x90 inches)

This Twirling Tulips Quilt is circa 1940s-1950s and appears to have been made from a kit sold by Monarch in the 1940s. The applique has been hand-stitched and hand embroidered and the quilting is entirely by hand in feathers and flowers.

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition, with no condition issues noted.

It has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried and it is clean and soft. It measures 74 inches by 90 inches and is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
