Antique Crazy Quilt Table Mat: 1870-1890s; Cottagecore Decor (15 x18")

This very old Crazy Quilt Table Mat, circa 1870-1890s; is hand embroidered and incorporates a variety of fabrics including silks (many of which have shattered), cottons, old velvets, brocades and wools,

The back is a beautiful print with fans while the binding is black cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides.

As indicated above, this crazy quilt mat shows its age. The silks have shattered and there are there has been fabric loss in one of the velvet blocks. The back is in excellent condition.

Measures 15 inches by 18 inches.
