French Knot Embroidered Table Runner with Tatted Border; handmade; 23" by 31"

This French Knot Embroidered Table Runner or Dresser Scarf with tatted border, circa 1950s, has been well preserved. It is embroidered with light pink flower stems and elaborate French Knot flowers. As anyone who has ever tried it knows, French Knot is one of the most difficult embroidery stitches to master.

Excellent vintage condition.
