Vintage Double Nine Patch Quilt with Sawtooth Border; Circa 1930-1940s; hand-quilted;

This sweet Double Nine-Patch Quilt is circa 1930-1940s and nine-patches are made with patchwork squares just 1-inch square. It is entirely hand-quilted in diagonals and diamonds. The patchwork sawtooth border goes around all four sides.

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition, with no condition issues noted.

This lovely quilt has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried. It is clean and soft and measures 63 inches by 69 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
