Vintage Hearts and Gizzards Variation Quilt; 1930-1940s; hand quilted; 60"x80"

This lovely pink and white Hearts and Gizzards Variation Quilts (circa 1930-1940s) is dark pink hearts with light pink hearts - see photos. The hand-quilting is excellent and intricate in tiny stitches in diamonds, feathers and complicated braided rope patterns.

The back is white cotton while the binding is narrow pink cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with a frayed border.

It has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried. It is clean and soft and measures 60 inches by 80 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
