Antique Clay's Compromise Quilt Top: Hand & Machine Stitched, 1910-1920s; (62x68 inches)

This striking quilt is a rarely found pattern called Clay's Compromise, circa 1910-1920s. It has been machine and hand-stitched, made all the more difficult by the curves in the pattern. The fabrics are truly beautiful and include some that appear to be antique chintz.

The Quilt Top is in excellent condition with several small tan marks that will likely come out with a soak. It is a Quilt TOP only - needs to be finished with batting and to be quilted.

It is clean and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 62 inches by 68 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
