This beautiful Northern Lights Quilt, circa 1920-1930s, is wonderfully hand-quilted in outlines of the interlocking patchwork.
The back is white muslin while the binding is a red-striped cotton that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is unsized and lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with some overall age-related fading of the fabrics. See photos.
The quilt has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried. It measures 60 inches by 77 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
