Vintage Nine Patch and Old Tippecanoe Quilt; 1940-1950s; hand-quilted; 78"x82"

Nine-Patch and Old Tippecanoe Quilt from the 1940s to 1950s. This quilt has been expertly hand-quilted in a braided rope pattern in the sashing and along the four-sided border.

The back is a green snowflake cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried. It measures 78 inches by 82 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
