Such a beautiful quilt made of very high-quality cottons, expertly pieced and appliqued, then densely long-arm quilted in a variety of patterns: circles, curlicues, feathers and geometric patterns. It's a work of art and reminds me of the stunning quilts of Ellen Schargel Rosenbach, though this one is not one of hers and unfortunately the quilter did not sign her (or his) name. The colors include light tans, sage greens, shades of blue, yellows, maroons, purples, rose and gold.
The back is tan cotton with tiny polka dots while the binding is a tan floral that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.
