This Double Wedding Ring Quilt, circa 1930-1940, is a real beauty. The hand-quilting is so dense in some areas it is stipple quilted. The rest of the quilting is in concentric arcs through the rings and in the white areas it is in flowers and bows and in outlines of those flowers and bows.
The back is white cotton while the binding is a cheddar/orange cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with a fraying border.
This unique quilt is clean and soft and measures 74 inches by 76 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
