Stunning Cathedral Windows Quilt, circa 1970s, which unlike traditional quilts, is made by folding and stitching individual muslin blocks, creating a sculptural texture and beautifully intricate design. This unusual quilt goes a step further by arranging the blocks in a lovely blue and white pattern radiating from the center.
The back is the reverse side of the "windows" - which is the same off-white muslin used on the front. There is no batting.
Excellent condition with some fading of the fabrics, especially the darkest blues. See photos.
It is clean and soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 62 inches by 96 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
