Vintage 1950s Baby Quilt – Bunny & Baby Appliqué – Hand Quilted – 36” x 52”

This darling mid-century crib quilt features a sweet little baby holding what looks like a carrot and walking hand-in-hand with a bunny friend. It is framed by a soft blue ribbon garland and pastel hand-appliquéd flowers and is in colors of classic pink, baby blue, yellow, and mint green. It has also been embellished with fine hand-embroidery.

The hand-quilting is elaborate for a baby quilt and is in a serpentine along the border and in elaborate flowers, diagonals and cross-hatches in the body of the quilt.

The back is white cotton while instead of binding the quilt has a prairie-point edge. The cotton batting is lightweight.

This little quilt has been freshly laundered and is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
