This cheerful Depression Era Basket Quilt from the 1930s features rows of charming pieced baskets set on point among vibrant yellow blocks. The baskets are constructed from an assortment of 1930s cotton prints, including florals, geometrics, and small novelty-style prints, while the basket handles are appliquéd in contrasting prints. The hand-quilting is in a repeating shell pattern.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and machine stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
