Vintage 1950s Hand Embroidered Pair of Peacock Pillowcases with Tatting - 20” x 27.5”

This is a lovely decorative pair of mid-century vintage off-white/cream cotton peacock pillowcases, beautifully hand embroidered with the peacocks nestled in flowering vine wreaths. The embroidery threads are colorful —turquoise, violet, blue, pink, and golden tones—surrounded by bright pink blossoms and leafy green vines. The lower edge of each pillowcase is finished with a hand-crocheted tatting.

The pillowcases are in excellent vintage condition with no holes or stains.
