This wonderful Broken Star Quilt, circa 1930-1940s, is beautifully pieced (with one hardly noticeable, small piecing misstep in one of the dark pink rows). The quilting is entirely by hand and in outlines of all of the more than 2,000 diamonds and in a diamond pattern in the white areas.
The back is white cotton which has been turned to the front and machine stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 86 inches by 88 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
