Exquisite Vintage Dresden Plate Quilt, 1930-1940s, hand quilted; 66"x81"

A really special Dresden Plate Quilt, circa 1930-1940s, with the "plates" separated by green clovers that are also used to form the unique four-sided border. The hand-quilting is exquisite and is in double outlines of the plates and clovers, in outlines of the patchwork, in spirals in the middle of each plate and in modified braided rope patterns between the plates.

The back is a mint green cotton while the binding is white cotton that has been machine stitched to both sides. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and measures approximately 66 inches by 81 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
