Vintage Amish Trip Around the World Quilt, with feather wreaths; 1940s; 98"x104"

This large Amish Trip Around the World Quilt is circa 1940s and has spectacular hand-quilting in feathers, feather wreaths, diamonds, flowers, hearts and geometric patterns. The quilting is all in black thread and tiny stitches that can best be seen from the back. The quilting on the four-sided border is in straight lines.

The back is blue cotton while the binding is black cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition, with no flaws noted.

It is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 98 inches by 104 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
