Vintage Scrappy Building Blocks Quilt; 1930-1940s; hand-quilted; 55"x87"

This Building Blocks Quilt, circa 1930s-1940s, has been hand-quilted in double lines through all of the patchwork. There is a sawtooth border on all four sides.

The back is blue cotton that has been hand-stitched directly to the top - there is no binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with everything intact but over the years the sawtooth border has puckered and folded onto itself, giving a primitive look to the border on two sides. See photos.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 55 inches by 87 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
