Vintage Broken Star Quilt: 1930s; Hand-Quilted (68x80")

Stunning Broken Star Quilt, circa 1930s, featuring more than two dozen broken star blocks made with a lovely assortment of florals, solids and calicos. The craftsmanship is exceptional, with fine hand-quilting in outlines of the thousands of pieces of patchwork.

The quilting is highlighted on the pink backing, which has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition, with some age-related fading of the fabrics.

The quilt measures 68 inches by 80 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
