Vintage Double Wedding Ring Cutter Quilt; 1930s; Crafting Quilt; hand-quilted (70" x 83")

This Double Wedding Ring Quilt, circa 1930s, is completely hand-stitched, with curved piecing and fine hand-quilting throughout and with four-patch pastel pinks and purples where the rings meet. It has been finely hand-quilted in diamonds and straight-line grids. There is a four-sided scalloped border.

The back is beautiful purple cotton as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is unsized and very lightweight.

Ninety-five percent of the quilt is in excellent condition, but unfortunately in several areas along the border there is fabric loss that has deteriorated the cottons down to the batting and in one section the binding has become detached from the back in a 6-inch section. See Photos.

The quilt is clean and soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 70 inches by 83 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
