Rare Antique Tobacco Flannel Quilt; 1900-1915, Union Leader, Bagley's Gold Shore; Advertising Premium Quilt; 44.5"x64"

This striking and rare antique Advertising Premium Quilt is pieced entirely from early 1900s tobacco premium flannels that were collected at the time and saved from popular smoking tobacco brands of the era. It features vibrant logos from Union Leader, Bagley's Gold Shore Cut Plug, Pedro, and Satisfaction, some of the most iconic American tobacco advertising imagery of the time. It is entirely hand-stitched with light quilting.

It is backed by early 20th Century plaid shirting fabric that is turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. It does not appear to contain any batting.

It is in very good condition with expected age-related wear, including scattered stains, fading and a few areas of fading. It is structurally sound and displayable.
