Vintage Star Medallion Quilt | Large Handmade Bedspread (89 x 105)

This is a beautifully hand-crafted star medallion quilt features a striking eight-pointed star center surrounded by multiple pieced borders of flying geese, sawtooth triangles, and framed star blocks. Inspired by traditional 19th-century medallion quilts, this quilt was made using high-quality reproduction cotton fabrics then expertly long arm quilted in curlicues, repeating V's and circles.

The back is a beautiful sage green reproduction fabric while the binding is a brown and Madder red reproduction print that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

Measuring an impressive 89” x 105”, this is a true bed-size quilt suitable for a queen or king bed. The quilt comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
