Vintage Cathedral Windows Scrap Quilt – Hand Sewn – Small Quilt – 33" x 34"

This charming vintage Cathedral Window quilt dates to the early 1950s-1960s and was entirely hand constructed using the traditional folded-muslin technique. The windows showcase a lively mix of vintage cotton prints, including cheerful florals, polka dots, novelty motifs, and small geometrics. Each window is just 1.5-inches square.

With the folded-muslin method, cathedral window quilts are put together one square at a time and then hand-sewn together to make the larger quilt. The back of each square is muslin (see photos) and like all cathedral window quilts, this one has no batting.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
