Vintage United States Map Quilt – 1990s Folk Art Patchwork - 37.5" x 55"

This charming vintage United States map quilt dates to the 1990s and was made as a decorative and educational folk-style quilt. Each state is individually appliquéd using bright, cheerful cotton prints, creating a patchwork map of the U.S., complete with Alaska and Hawaii.

It is hand-quilted in waves in the area outside the map, while each state's outline is machine-embroidered. The back is blue/teal and white floral cotton while the binding is a pink floral that has been machine-stitched to both sides. The batting is lightweight.
