Vintage 1940s Alphabet Child’s Quilt – Hand Embroidered, Hand-Quilted – 56" x 84"

This is a charming and beautifully preserved, entirely handmade 1940s child’s quilt, hand embroidered with the full alphabet, each letter paired with a detailed, embroidered motifs outlined in colorful embroidery and set against bright turquoise/blue sashing. The quilt is entirely hand quilted in diamonds and unique, sweeping geometric patterns.

The back is white cotton, as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent, vintage condition with no issues noted.
