Vintage Delaware Flagstones Quilt with Nile Green Centers – Hand Quilted – 64” x 80”

This striking vintage Delaware Flagstone quilt dates to the 1930s–early 1940s and beautifully reflects the era's love of Nile Green. The quilt is hand pieced from a scrappy assortment of period fabrics, including Depression-era florals, stripes, geometrics, and plaids typical of and wartime textiles. The precise hand-quilting is in outlines of the patchwork, including along the four-sided scalloped patchwork border.

The back is Nile Green cotton print that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with several light, minor spots of color transfer. See photos.
