Vintage 1940s Baby Quilt – “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” Hand-Tied 40" x 45"

This is a sweet mid-century nursery quilt of the “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” prayer, beautifully illustrated across nine embroidered panels. Each block shows a sweet sleeping child or animal — bunny, kitten, teddy bear, birds, and more — stitched in soft pastels with bold black lettering.

The back is aqua cotton as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to both sides. The batting is lightweight.

This small quilt has been freshly laundered and is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
