Vintage Ocean Waves Scrappy Quilt - Hand Quilted Depression Era - 66” x 80”

This is a charming 1930s "Ocean Waves" Hand-Quilted Scrap Quilt made of period fabrics, including pastel ginghams, floral feed sacks, and indigo shirting prints. The piece is beautifully hand-quilted in outlines of the patchwork, flowers in the blue-floral blocks and in double and triple diagonals along the four-sided border.

The back is cream-muslin with some light remnants of feedsack printing, while the binding is very narrow cream-muslin that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with minor age-related fading.
