Antique 1920s Old Kentucky Home Quilt | Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted | Cottage House Pattern | 63” x 80”

This wonderful Old Kentucky Home quilt dates to the 1920s-1930s of twelve cottage house blocks, each made from a different period print, set against deep blue sashing with bright pink cornerstones.

Each house is hand pieced from floral, geometric, gingham, and novelty cotton prints typical of the era. It is hand quilted throughout in a crosshatch grid that complements the architectural design. The back is white cotton while the blue border fabric has been turned to the back and handstitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent antique condition. It remains sturdy and displays beautifully, with only the expected light age-related wear and minor fading consistent with a quilt 100 years old. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
