This is a lovely Depression-Era "Birds in the Air" Quilt, featuring the classic geometric pattern. The quilt features alternating pink and blue triangle blocks and solid white blocks, with hand-quilting in outlines of the patchwork and - in the white blocks - in beautiful flower motifs.
The back is white cotton while the binding is blue cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with some fading of the blue fabric, especially along on the binding/border.
