Vintage Hawaiian Appliqué Quilt – Sage Green & White – 57” x 58”

This beautiful vintage Hawaiian Appliqué Quilt features a striking green design on a cream-white background, arranged in the classic pattern that defines traditional Hawaiian quilts. The large symmetrical motif radiates outward from the center in graceful leaf and floral forms reminiscent of breadfruit or hibiscus designs often used in Hawaiian quilting.

The appliqué was cut from folded fabric to create the perfectly mirrored shapes that are characteristic of Hawaiian quilts. Surrounding the appliqué is traditional echo hand-quilting that follows the contours of the pattern.

The soft sea-foam green color paired with crisp white gives the quilt a fresh and calming appearance that works beautifully in coastal, cottage, or mid-century interiors. Its nearly square size makes it especially versatile for use as a lap quilt, wall hanging, or decorative throw.

The back is cream-white cotton while the binding is green cotton that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt remains in excellent vintage condition and displays beautifully, made easier by the display tabs that have been added to the back.
