Vintage 1950s Baby Quilt – “Count the Sheep” Lamb Appliqué Quilt – 39” x 49”

Sweet and classic, this vintage mid-century baby quilt features an adorable nursery rhyme theme with appliquéd lambs and the hand-embroidered phrase “Count the sheep and go to sleep.” It is hand-appliqued, hand-embroidered and hand-quilted.

Each block features a charming little lamb in soft white, accented with delicate embroidery, tiny pink flowers, and gentle hand quilting throughout, all against a soft pink pastel ground.

The back is pink as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
