Vintage 1950s Nursery Rhyme Quilt – Hand Embroidered – 36 x 55

This is a charming mid-century nursery rhyme quilt filled with hand-embroidered storybook characters, including Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, and Little Bo Peep, each stitched in bright, cheerful colors on a crisp white background. The quilt is machine-quilted in a diamond grid pattern.

The quilt is hand-embroidered and hand-cross-stitched from a Bucilla kit. The back is white cotton, as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

This crib-size quilt has been freshly laundered and is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
