Vintage 1940s Hexagon Star Quilt – Grandmother’s Flower Garden Variation – 73" x 89"

This beautiful and eye-catching mid-century quilt is a variation of the classic Grandmother’s Flower Garden, arranged in striking hexagon star medallions with each star radiating outward in soft lavender, seafoam green, and rose pink, with charming floral prints forming the centers.

Hand pieced and hand quilted, this piece reflects the careful, patient craftsmanship of the maker who hand-pieced thousands of hexagons then hand-quilted each individual hexagon. The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition and appears never-used.
