Vintage 1930s Scrappy Diamond Star Quilt | Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted | 39” x 52”

This charming and scrappy 1930s Diamond Star Quilt is expertly hand pieced from a delightful assortment of pastel feed sack and scrap fabrics and features eight-star blocks set against pink and aqua prints that give it an unmistakable cottage feel.

It has been intricately hand quilted in tiny stitches in outlines of the many patchwork pieces. The back is ivory/cream-colored cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding while the cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted. It has been soaked and hand-washed in fragrance-free soap then line dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
