Vintage 1970s Circus Animal Child’s Quilt – Child Decor in Bright Red – 54” x 80”

This retro child's quilt has a mid-century aesthetic and is circa 1960s-1970s. It features a circus-themed print filled with animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, seals, cats and other animals balancing balls, playing instruments, dancing and playing, all in bright colors framed by a vivid red border.

It is hand-quilted including in outlines of the animals and outlines of the inner beige/brown border, while the red border is hand-quilted with balls and flying balloons. The back is a chestnut cotton while the red border has been turned to the back and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with one patch/repair to the red border.
