Vintage 1940s Hand Embroidered Baby Quilt Pink & White Crib Quilt - 36x43”

This charming little quilt features delightful hand embroidered Sunbonnet Sue and overall-clad children carrying fishing poles, flowers, baskets, and accompanied by tiny birds and dogs, all stitched in cheerful colorful embroidery against soft white blocks. The quilt has a blush pink and white checkerboard layout while the fine hand-quilting is in crosshatch grids throughout the quilt.

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted. It has been freshly laundered with fragrance-free soap and line dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
