Vintage 1940s Scrappy Nine Patch Quilt | Feed Sack Fabrics | Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted | 70" x 86"

This is a cheerful and scrappy 1940s Nine Patch Quilt is filled with a wide variety of fabrics, including:
* Pink and blue ditsy florals
* Feed sack-style florals
* Small ginghams
* Polka dots
* Pastel florals
* Novelty bird print
* Floral prints on black grounds

The ones that are particularly bright and "pop" are the red polka dots, floral prints on black grounds, the pink and blue florals, mint green prints, novelty bird fabric, and gingham checks. The quilt has been entirely hand pieced and hand quilted, with the quilting in repeating shell grids.

The back is an off-white/ivory cotton as is the binding that has been machine stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition. It has been soaked, freshly hand-washed and line-dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
