Vintage 1960s Hand Embroidered Clown Quilt, Red White & Blue Child's Quilt, 64" x 84"

This 1960s Clown Quilt features embroidered clowns, playful circus animals, and charming clown faces arranged in a classic checkerboard layout of blue floral print and white blocks, all framed by a vivid red border.

The colorful embroidery has been stitched by hand, while the machine quilting is in an allover square grid. The back is white cotton while the vivid red border has been turned to the back and hand stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition. It has been soaked, freshly hand-washed and line-dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
