Celebrate Liberty with this charming handmade patriotic wall hanging, created for the bicentennial in 1976. It features a “Liberty” design in bold navy blue appliqué letters accented by two bright red hearts. The border is framed with alternating American flags, blue stars, and red-and-white gingham fabrics.

Machine-appliquéd using satin stitching, the reverse reveals the embroidery outlines used during construction. The back is white cotton while the binding is off-white cotton and it has been knife-edge finished and handstitched closed. The batting is very lightweight. Plastic hanging rings have been sewn into the upper corners, making it ready to display immediately.

CONDITION: It is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
