This early 20th Century Double-Sided Quilt is one-of-a-kind. One side is a patchwork Crow's Foot pattern while the other is a compilation of random blocks of Dresden Plate, Double-Wedding-Ring and even an embroidered basket of flowers along with a half-dozen big and small patches of historic fabrics in a Crazy-Quilt-type pattern.
The entire quilt is hand-quilted in a repeating shell pattern. Fabric from the Crow's Foot side has been turned to the "everything" side and hand-stitched to form the binding.
The quilt is in excellent antique condition, with some fabric loss of about an inch square of the muslin fabric on two of the blocks on the "everything" side. There are also some minor seam separations on the same side.
This unique quilt is clean and soft and measures 73 inches by 82 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
