This striking antique Lone Star quilt dates to the 1930s–1940s and features a bold, oversized eight-point star radiating across a creamy white ground. Hand-pieced from classic Depression-era cottons in vivid pink, lavender, peach, and deep blue, the quilt is entirely and beautifully hand quilted in concentric circles and cross-hatch grids, as well as in double outlines of the diamond piecework.
The back is white cotton while the binding is bright pink cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
