Vintage Boston Commons Quilt, circa 1940-1950s; hand-quilted; 79"x88"

This Boston Commons Quilt has been quilted in a variety of unique patterns, including in double spirals and zig-zags along the four-sided border. It is also quilted in outlines of the patchwork.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and machine stitched to form the binding. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with some blue color transfer (see photos).

It is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 79 inches by 88 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
