This wonderfully cheerful Scrappy Flower Applique Quilt, circa 1930s, is made from authentic feedsack and calico prints framed by bright yellow sashings. It is entirely hand-quilted in a cross-hatch around the flowers and in a repeating four-petal flower pattern in the sashings and along the four-sided border.
The back is bright white cotton while the binding is yellow cotton that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
It comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and measures 72 inches by 86 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
