This is a charming and unique set of three vintage hand-stitched miniature Cathedral Window quilts, circa 1950s, each completely hand-stitched and measuring approximately 5 inches by 6 inches. These beautifully crafted tiny quilts were made using the traditional folded-muslin Cathedral Window technique, with colorful mid-20th-century cotton scraps inset into each “window.” The fabrics range from 1940s florals and plaids to 1950s calicos and novelty prints. One has a tag saying "Handmade by Sharon Wheeler".
These tiny quilts would have taken meticulous and time-intensive needlework just like the larger Cathedral Windows quilting.
All three pieces are in good vintage condition, showing a few small spots consistent with age, but no structural damage. They come with a glass-topped box for display purposes (see photos).
