Classic 1930s Robbing Peter to Pay Paul Quilt; Vintage quilt; hand-quilted; cottagecore; 66"x76"

This is a circa 1930s Robbing Peter to Pay Paul Quilt, hand-stitched and hand-quilted and made in a lovely lavender and butter-yellow. The hand-quilting is tiny stitches in outlines of the complex patchwork and in cross-hatches in the larger yellow areas.

The back is a striking dark lavender cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is unsized and lightweight.

The quilt is in very good vintage condition with a frayed binding.

It is approximately 66 inches by 76 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
