Vintage 1940s Patchwork Mid Century Scrap Quilt; Cozy Cottage Farmhouse Decor; 65" x 74"

Lovely 1940s vintage hand-pieced and hand-quilted patchwork quilt featuring a classic square scrap pattern in cheerful reds, greens, yellows, and soft floral prints. This quilt showcases a wonderful mix of mid-century cottons, along with wool scraps and cotton corduroy, all carefully stitched together by hand.

The quilt is hand-quilted with red thread in a traditional running stitch shell pattern, creating lovely texture and gentle crinkle that only comes with age and use. Backed in solid red cotton flannel, the binding is red cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with one minor seam separation.
