Vintage 1940s Double-Sided Whole Cloth Quilt – Romantic Rose Chintz –48"x58"

This beautiful vintage double-sided whole cloth quilt dates to the mid-20th century (circa 1940s) and features two coordinating rose prints. One side showcases large romantic rose bouquets in soft pinks, deep rose, and greens on a creamy white ground, while the reverse features a smaller scattered rosebud print in matching tones. The quilt is machine quilted with a sewing machine throughout with graceful curving lines that add texture and movement without overwhelming the delicate floral designs.

The binding is the same rose printed cotton as the back and has been machine-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

It is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.

Measuring approximately 48" by 58", this quilt is an ideal lap quilt, sofa throw, or decorative accent for a cottage, French country, shabby chic, or romantic interior. It layers beautifully on a chair, bench, or guest bed and displays equally well on either side.
